Daniel Kim

Daniel teaches drums to students from age eight through to adult beginners in his Wellington studio, with a relaxed, encouraging style built around rhythm fundamentals and reading. He focuses on giving students a genuine feel for time and groove early on, rather than drilling technique in isolation, so that what they learn actually translates once they sit down with a band. Whether he's teaching an eight-year-old their first beat or helping an adult beginner build the confidence to eventually play with others, he brings the same patience and encouragement to every lesson.

Daniel has independently completed a New Zealand Police Vetting Check through CVCheck. This is required for all Musician Gallery teachers to complete before their profile goes live.
