Sarah Chen

Sarah trained at the University of Auckland and has spent a decade performing solo and ensemble sets at weddings, corporate functions, and private events across the North Island. Her playing draws on a classical foundation with an ear for contemporary arrangement, so a ceremony can move seamlessly from a traditional processional into a modern love song without ever feeling mismatched. She's just as comfortable leading a string quartet through a reception set as she is playing solo for an intimate elopement, and brings viola into the mix for trio and quartet bookings that call for a fuller sound.
